Game News Overwatch 2: Junker Queen, the new heroine, shows her gameplay goes inside
Definitely, the Queen of Junkers has been talking about her lately… After revealing her story, the new heroine of Overwatch 2 comes again under the spotlight to talk about her, or rather, to show her gameplay .
A gameplay that rocks
After making the show at the Xbox & Bethesda Summer Game Fest conference, Odessa “Dez” Stone, better known as Junker Queen, is making her big comeback today to reveal her gameplay to us. And as you can see by watching the trailer above, the latter is a real tank that completely dominates the battlefield.
Thanks to this new trailer, we can see her face her enemies with ease; better, with her modified pump shotgun, the Scattergun, she can send them waltzing into the background. This trailer also allows you to see the Jagger Blade in action, a kind of knife that allows you to deactivate the machines, but also to attract them towards it, ideal for doing maximum damage.
Abilities That Hurt
If you want more details on Junker Queen’s different abilities, this is where it goes. So we start with the Jagged Blade which, in its passive version, allows you to inflict damage over time on opponents by simply giving ax blows. But, as we said above, this ability can also be activated to throw a knife which can both deactivate turrets and attract enemies towards you.
We continue with competence Commanding Shout which is neither more nor less a battle cry. By activating this ability, the Queen of Junkers can run faster and increase her health by 200 and that of her close friends by 100.
For its part, the ability Ultimate Rampage, when activated, performs a forward charge that staggers and damages all enemies hit. Note that these same enemies will, for a time, be unable to heal themselves.
We end with Adrenaline Rush which is aptly named. This passive skill allows our new tank to heal up to the amount of damage received over time. In other words, with these four skills, Junker Queen is a real killing machine.
Note that a second closed beta of Overwatch 2 will open on June 28. To register for the latter, just click on this link. This will also be the opportunity to get your hands on this new heroine who does not have a shotgun in her pocket.
